Location: Austin, TX
Job Description: A successful forensic engineering firm in the greater Austin area is looking for an Engineer in Training (EIT) with a civil or architectural engineering degree from an ABET accredited engineering college or university.
Required education: Civil or architectural engineering degree from an ABET accredited engineering school. A master of science degree is preferred but not required. A Professional Engineer (PE) with 3 years or less of experience in geotechnical, structural or architectural engineering will also be considered.
Other considerations: Strict no smoking and no drug policy. Background check is required. Applicant cannot have felony or moral turpitude (theft, fraud, etc.) arrests or convictions. Job will include a significant amount of writing and public speaking. Applicant must be able to speak English well and be insurable to a company vehicle. Some travel in Texas and overnight should be expected.
Compensation: Salary based on experience and licensure. Forty-hour work week, and all hours over 40 per week will be paid at a standard hourly rate.
